I. Approving the City’s Participation in Nationwide Opioid Litigation\nSettlement Agreement with the Kroger Co.; Approving the California\nState-Subdivision Agreement Regarding Distribution and Use of\nSettlement Funds - That the City Council approve Resolution 7548: 1.\nApproving the City’s participation in the national settlement of a lawsuit\nagainst the Kroger Co. for the impacts of the opioid addiction crisis; and, 2.\nDirect settlement proceeds to Orange County to use for authorized opioid\nsubstance abuse and prevention programs; and, 3. Authorizing the City\nManager to take all actions necessary to implement the settlement\nagreement.
