ACCEPTANCE OF URBAN AND COMMUNITY FORESTRY GRANT FROM\nTHE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE\nRecommendations:\n(1) Authorize the City Manager to accept a match-free $100,000 grant from the\nU.S. Department of Agriculture’s Urban and Community Forestry Grant\nProgram; and\n(2) Appropriate $100,000 with a matching increase in estimated grant revenues to\nfund a tree canopy analysis, tree inventory system, planting site analysis, and an\nUrban Forestry Master Plan.\nAgenda Report
