ACCEPT DONATION: ALHAMBRA CIVIC CENTER LIBRARY – F2M23-12, M2M23-20\nStaff requests that the City Council accept the gift of $20,000 from the Alhambra Public\nLibrary Foundation to be used to support the Library’s Annual Summer Reading Program.\nThe funds will be used to provide marketing and outreach, books for giveaway, program\nincentives, a slate of programming by outside vendors and refreshments.\nRecommended Action: City Council accept a $20,000 donation from the Alhambra\nPublic Library Foundation to support the Library’s Annual Summer Reading Program;\nappropriate revenue and expenditure funds in the amount of $20,000; and, direct staff to\nundertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
