CC 9. Professional Services Agreement - FTI Consulting, Inc.\nRecommendation/s:\n1. It is recommended that the City Council approve the Professional Services Agreement\nwith FTI Consulting, Inc. (FTI) in an amount not to exceed $250,000, and authorize the\nCity Manager, or his designee, to sign all documents; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute any additional amendments to\nthe Agreement deemed necessary to complete the project in a form approved by the\nCity Attorney; and\n3. Find that this item is not a project pursuant to the California Environmental Quality\nAct.\nSince Lancaster announced the goal to be the "First Hydrogen City" in the U.S. and launched the\nSmart Sister Cities partnership with Namie, Japan, FTI has supported the City's communication and\ndesign across hydrogen, clean energy, and digital & insights workstreams. With its growing, global\nreputation as a leading clean energy City coupled with its successful amplification of projects\nand partnerships, the City of Lancaster is now seeking additional strategic communications\nand design support to accomplish its goals and objectives.
