CC 10. Resolution Amending the Ballot Description and Calling for the Holding of a Special\nMunicipal Election to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024\nRecommendation/s:\nAdopt Resolution No. 24-__, amending Resolution Nos. 24-34, 24-46, and 24-47 Relating to\nan ordinance to be submitted to the voters at a Special Municipal Election to be held on\nNovember 5, 2024, approving enacting an amendment to the City’s Transactions and Use\nTax.\nThis proposed Resolution (i) amends the ballot title and summary contained in the Measure\nResolution, Election Resolution, and Consolidation Resolution, in order to comply with the\nstatutory 75-word limit, and (ii) clarifies that any reference in the Measure Resolution to a\n“General” Municipal Election to be held on November 5, 2024, means a “Special” Municipal\nElection.
