SECOND READING AND ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AND\nAMENDING SALARY AND BENEFITS FOR CERTAIN EXECUTIVE TEAM MEMBERS\nAND CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES – F2M23-2, O2M23-4809, M2M23-21\nOn February 13, 2023, the City Council introduced Ordinance No. O2M23-4809 for a first\nreading. The Ordinance is now ready for second reading and adoption. However, the\nFebruary 27, 2023 agenda also includes an urgency ordinance, that, if adopted, will revise\ncertain provisions of Ordinance No. O2M23-4809. If the Council does adopt the urgency\nordinance, staff will revise the affected provisions of Ordinance No. O2M23-4809\naccordingly.\n12\n2-27-23\nRecommended Action: City Council declare introduced for its second reading and\nadopt the following ordinance entitled:\nOrdinance No. O2M23-4809: An Ordinance of the Alhambra City Council\nestablishing and amending salary and benefits for certain Executive Team\nMembers and Confidential Employees superseding Ordinance No. O2M21-4795\nand Ordinance No. O2M22-4804; and,\nIf the Council adopts urgency Ordinance No. O2M23-4810 on February 27, 2023, City\nstaff is directed to revise the text of Ordinance No. O2M23-4809 to reflect the changes\nmade by the urgency ordinance.
