8. Adopt a Resolution Appropriating Funds, in the amount of $38,500, and authorize the\npurchase of a replacement vehicle for the Fire Prevention Division. This action will provide\nfunding (combination of Vehicle Replacement and Fire Capital Equipment Funds) and authorize\nthe purchase of a 2024 Chevrolet Colorado for use by the Fire Prevention Division.\nRecommendation: That the City Council adopt the Resolution titled, "A RESOLUTION OF THE\nCITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA VERNE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR\n2024-25 ADOPTED BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $38,500 WITHIN THE VEHICLE\nREPLACEMENT FUND (FUND 624) - WITH $28,000 FROM VEHICLE REPLACEMENT FUND\n(FUND 624) RESERVES AND $10,500 TRANSFERRED FROM PS-FIRE EQUIPMENT FUND\n(FUND 250), AND AUTHORIZE THE PURCHASE OF A REPLACEMENT VEHICLE FOR THE\nFIRE PREVENTION DIVISION."
