This measure aims to reform Proposition 47 through various changes to\ncurrent law related to increased sentences for various drug and theft-related crimes, as defined.\nRecommendation: That the City Council approve a resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION OF\nTHE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF LA VERNE, CALIFORNIA, SUPPORTING THE\nHOMELESSNESS, DRUG ADDICTION, AND THEFT REDUCTION ACT."
