MOLINA, M.\nWATSON]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider adopting a resolution in support\nof Proposition 3, The Constitutional Right to Marriage Equality and Repeal\nof Proposition 8, which will enshrine the right to marriage equality into the\nCalifornia Constitution and repeal Proposition 8 of 2008. Proposition 3 will\nappear on the November 5, 2024 ballot.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Adopt Resolution No. 24-________: “A\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST\nHOLLYWOOD IN SUPPORT OF PROPOSITION 3, THE\nCONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO MARRIAGE EQUALITY AND REPEAL OF\nPROPOSITION 8”; and 2) Direct the Communications Department to\nshare information on the adopted resolution with the public.
