Item No. 31. 2024-0634 CONSIDER RECORDIN G A “NOTICE OF\nEXEMPTION” IN THE OFFICE OF THE LOS ANGELES\nCOUNTY CLERK AND WITH THE STATE CLEARING\nHOUSE FOR PROJECT NO. 1636 (MILLS PARK\nIMPROVEMENTS), PURSUANT TO SECTION 15301(E)\n(1), 15303(E) AND 15323 OF THE CALIFORNIA\nENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT GUIDELINES (CITY\nCOUNCIL)\nRecommendation: TAKE the following actions:\n1. AUTHORIZE staff to advertise the work and call for construction\nbids for Project No. 1636: Mills Park Improvement Project.\n2. MAKE the California Environmental Quality Act finding that the\nproposed Mills Park Improvement Project is categorically exempt\npursuant to Sections 15301(e)(1) 15303(e) and 15323 of the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act guidelines.\n3. AUTHORIZE staff to record the "Notice of Exemption" in the\noffice of the Los Angeles County Clerk and with the State Clearing\nHouse at the Governor's Office of Planning and Research for\nProject No. 1636: Mills Park Improvement.\nAttachments: Exhibit 1.
