14. CONSIDERATION OF FRANCHISE AGREEMENT FOR POLICE ORDERED TOWING\nAND STORAGE SERVICES\nOn June 4, 2024, a notice for a Request for Proposal for a Non-Exclusive Franchise Agreement\nfor Towing and Storage services was released. Three (3) proposals were received.\nPolice Department Staff evaluated each proposal and provided a grading based on certain criteria\nspelled out in the Request for Proposals. In addition to reviewing each of the submitted proposals,\nStaff from the Police Department conducted on-site visits, which allowed Staff to confirm that the\nproposers adhered to requirements listed in the Request for Proposals and that the information\nlisted in their respective proposals was true and correct.\nRecommendation:\nIt is staff recommendation that the City Council adopt the attached Resolution authorizing the City\nManager to execute a Non-Exclusive Franchise Agreement for vehicle towing and storage services\nwith the selected Vendor, subject to approval by City Attorney.
