6. Award of Purchase and Installation Agreement to Shaw Sports Turf\nCalifornia, Inc. for the Sports Field Synthetic Turf Replacement at the La Paz\nSports Park, Cash Contract No. 23-27\nRecommendation\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Award the Purchase and Installation Agreement to Shaw Sports Turf\nCalifornia, Inc. for the Sports Field Synthetic Turf Replacement at La Paz\nSports Park, Cash Contract 23-27 in the amount of $1,219,591;\n2. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to process change\norders in an amount not to exceed 20% of the total contract for $243,918,\nfor a total not-to-exceed amount of $1,417,203, if needed;\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Purchase and Installation\nAgreement for the Sports Field Synthetic Turf Replacement at La Paz\nSports Park, with Shaw Sports Turf California Inc., and future amendments\nto the Agreement, subject to the City Attorney making non-substantive\nchanges; and,\n4. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to execute the Notice of\nCompletion at the conclusion of construction.
