Given the software’s\ncritical role in the department’s operations, it is necessary to ensure its\ncontinued availability and functionality through the renewal of the current\ncontract. The cost of the contract renewal, $30,334.49, is budgeted within the\nCommunity Development Department’s annual operating budget. There is no\nadditional financial impact or budget adjustment required.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council approve the renewal of the Central\nSquare permitting software contract for one year at a cost of $30,334.49 and\nauthorize the City Manager or his designee to sign the agreement.
