ORDINANCE NO. 713 AMENDING TITLE III, SECTION 34 OF THE SAN\nGABRIEL MUNICIPAL CODE – FINANCE AND REVENUE –\nINTRODUCTION AND FIRST READING\nThe proposed ordinance would amend Title III, Section 34 of the San Gabriel\nMunicipal Code. The ordinance would amend, in part, the dollar thresholds\nrequired for formal and informal contract procedures as well as the City\nManager authority to make purchases, increasing the amounts from\n$15,000 to $25,000. The ordinance would also amend the amount required\nto obtain three informal written bids from $3,000 to $5,000 and propose\nsome minor text changes. There is no fiscal impact for this item.
