E. APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT WITH LA CASA DE SAN GABRIEL\nCOMMUNITY CENTER FOR THE DUMPLING AND BEER FESTIVAL IN THE\nAMOUNT OF $3,075\nThe City has always partnered with a third-party entity to assist in obtaining an\nAlcohol Beverage Control (ABC) license for its annual Dumpling and Beer\nFestival. As the City does not have an exclusive partner for the event, every year\npresents an opportunity for the City to partner with a different entity. La Casa\nde San Gabriel Community Center was the only organization contacted by staff\nthat expressed interest in partnering with the City to obtain the ABC license for\nthe Festival. The cost for the City to contract with La Casa de San Gabriel\nCommunity Center to partner for the Dumpling and Beer Festival is $3,075 and\nhas already been included in the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 budget under the\nDumpling and Beer project line item.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council approve the Agreement with La Casa\nde San Gabriel Community Center for the 2024 Dumpling and Beer festival and\nauthorize the City Manager or their designee to execute said agreement.
