A Consideration and possible action to adopt Urgency Ordinance No. 1434 –\nAn Urgency Ordinance amending Bellflower Municipal Code Chapter 5.36\nrelated to entertainment permits; and read by title only, waive further\nreading, and introduce Ordinance No. 1435 – An Ordinance amending\nBellflower Municipal Code Chapter 5.36 related to entertainment permits.\nRecommendation to City Council: 1) Adopt Urgency Ordinance No. 1434\namending BMC Chapter 5.36 governing entertainment permits by at least a four-\nfifths (4/5) vote to take effect immediately; and 2) Read by title only, waive further\nreading, and introduce Ordinance No. 1435 amending BMC Chapter 5.36\ngoverning entertainment permits. Second reading and possible adoption would\noccur on September 9, 2024; or 3) Alternatively, discuss and take other action\nrelated to this item.
