Alley Restoration (Assessment District 113 and Assessment District 124\nPhase 0 Areas) - Award of Contract No. 7979-3 (25R07)\na) Find this project exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)\npursuant to Section 15301(c), Class 1 (maintenance of existing public facilities\ninvolving negligible or no expansion of use) of the CEQA Guidelines, because this\nproject has no potential to have a significant effect on the environment;\nb) Approve the project plans and specifications;\nc) Award Contract No. 7979-3 to Grigolla & Sons Construction Company, Inc. for\nthe total bid price of $3,774,000.00 for the Alley Restoration (AD-113 and AD-124\nPhase 0 areas) project, and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the\ncontract; and\nd) Establish a contingency of $377,000.00 (approximately 10% of total bid) to cover\nthe cost of unforeseen work not included in the original contract.\nStaff Report\nAttachment A - Location Map\nAttachment B - Location Map
