Request of Vice Mayor Negrete, Mayor Brock, and Councilmember Parra that the City Council, as\npart of National Seafood Month, approve City sponsorship of the OFF THE HOOK Santa Monica\nSeafood Festival taking place October, 13, 2024 on the Santa Monica Pier by directing the City\nManager to waive the City’s portion of fees for use of the Pier for Spin PR Group, the Santa Monica-\nbased PR, Marketing and Events agency producing the event. City fees related to the OFF THE HOOK\nSanta Monica Seafood Festival include the application, administrative, neighborhood notification,\nbusiness license, parking, and zero waste plan fees associated with the use of the Pier in an amount\nup to $16,000 in waived fees.
