Request of Vice Mayor Negrete and Councilmember Parra that the City Council, as part of October\nbeing Breast Cancer Awareness Month, approve City sponsorship of American Cancer Society Making\nStrides of Santa Monica Walk Against Breast Cancer Presented by O Positiv Health taking place\nOctober, 27, 2024 on the Santa Monica Pier by directing the City Manager to waive the City’s portion\nof fees for use of the Pier. City fees related to the Making Strides of Santa Monica Breast Cancer\nWalk include, the application, administrative, neighborhood notification, business license, parking,\nand zero waste plan fees associated with the use of the Pier in an amount up to $16,000 in waived\nfees.
