A request by Mayor Brock requesting the City Council direct the City Manager to send a letter to LA\nCounty Supervisor Lindsey Horvath and Inglewood Mayor James Butts, Santa Monica's\nrepresentatives on the Los Angeles Metro Board of Directors, expressing the City’s strong support for\nLA Metro’s Sepulveda Transit Corridor project to include a direct, on-campus station at the University\nof California, Los Angeles (UCLA), along with a seamless connection to the Metro Purple/D Line\nWestwood Village station. Additionally, the request includes joining the Sepulveda Transit Corridor\nfor All (STCAll) coalition—a grassroots group advocating for an accessible and equitable Sepulveda\nTransit Corridor that connects the Westside region and the San Fernando Valley with a direct station\nat UCLA and a seamless link to the Purple/D Line at Westwood Village—and authorizing the use of\nthe City’s logo on the coalition’s website.
