61. On-Call Skilled Accounting Services Contract\nRecommendation: Award a contract to AppleOne, Inc., a Community\nBusiness Enterprise, for on-call skilled accounting services for a one-year\nterm, with four one-year and up to six month-to-month extension options,\nfor a maximum potential contract term of 66 months and a maximum\npotential contract amount of $5,734,856; authorize the Director of Public\nWorks to execute the contract, renew the contract for reach additional\nrenewal option and extension period if, in the opinion of the Director,\nAppleOne, Inc., has successfully performed during the previous contract\nperiod and the services are still required; approve and execute\namendments to incorporate necessary changes within the scope of work,\nsuspend and/or terminate this contract for convenience, if it is in the best\ninterest of the County to do so, annually increase the contract amount up to\nan additional 10% of the annual contract amount, which is included in the\nmaximum potential contract amount for unforeseen additional work within\nthe scope of the contract, and adjust the annual contract total for each\noption year over the term of the contract to allow for an annual Cost of\nLiving Adjustment; and find that recommended actions are not a project,\npursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act.
