24. Southeast Gateway Line Corridor Cities Committee\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Hahn: Approve the County\njoining the Gateway Cities Council of Governments’ Southeast Gateway\nLine Corridor Cities Committee as a participating member; authorize the\nChief Executive Officer to pay the first year’s membership dues of $10,000,\npay future years’ annual membership dues, as agreed to by the\nCoordinating Cities Committee (CCC), every year thereafter until the\nCorridor Cities Committee concludes or if the County terminates its\nmembership in the Committee, and terminate the County’s membership,\ncontingent upon prior notice to the Board, including justification for the\nintended termination; instruct the Chair to designate a Director and one or\nmore alternate Directors to the CCC as the County representative(s); and\nfind that the recommended actions are not a project pursuant to the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act.
