Harbor-UCLA Medical Center Helistop Airport Land Use Commission\nProject\nRecommendation: Approve the construction plans for the proposed helistop\nfor patient and organ transport at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center (2), as\ndepicted in the proposed site plan, pursuant to California Public Utilities\nCode Section 21661.5, the Los Angeles County Airport Land Use\nCommission (ALUC) staff reviewed the request and determined that the\nproject is consistent with the policies contained in the Airport Land Use Plan\n(ALUP) and the ALUC review procedures; instruct the Director of Regional\nPlanning to forward a certified copy of the adopted Board letter to the\nCalifornia Division of Aeronautics; and find that the proposed helistop is\nwithin the scope of the project analyzed in the certified Environmental\nImpact Report for the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center Master Plan and no\nfurther analysis under the California Environmental Quality Act is required.\n(Department of Regional Planning) APPROVE (24-3661)\nRevised Board Letter\nPublic Safety
