85. Networked Logging Recorder System Maintenance and Support\nServices Sole Source Contract\nRecommendation: Approve and instruct the Chair to sign a sole source\ncontract with NICE Systems, Inc (NICE), for the provision of continued\nmaintenance and support services (Services) for the Sheriff’s Department’s\nNetworked Logging Recorder System, effective September 11, 2024\nthrough September 10, 2027, with the maximum contract amount not to\nexceed $1,200,000, with funding allocated in the Department's operating\nbudget, and the Department is responsible for ensuring it has adequate\nfunding in its operating budgets prior to requesting and approving services\nunder the contract; authorize the Sheriff to execute amendments and\nchange notices to the contract in order to effectuate modifications, which do\nnot materially affect any term of the contract, add new or revised standard\nCounty contract provisions adopted by the Board, as periodically required,\neffectuate the assignment and delegation/mergers or acquisitions provision,\nengage NICE to provide Services, as required by the County, with up to\n$15,000 in contingency funds for required TMR for the term of the contract,\nand terminate the contract, either in whole or in part.
