126. Employ a Retired County Employee on a Temporary Basis\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Personnel to immediately\nreemploy Leslie Foxvog as a 120-day temporary employee upon Board\napproval, to assist the Department of Human Resources with the\nimplementation of the Department Finance Manager Academy, and grant\nan exception to the 180-day waiting period required under the California\nPublic Employee’s Pension Reform Act of 2013 and under Government\nCode Section 7522.56, as Ms. Foxvog has a strong knowledge of specific\nprojects whereby her expertise is highly valued, necessary, and critically\nneeded to transition or bring projects to closure; and approve the request to\nallow Mrs. Foxvog to return at a rate and classification commensurate with\nher assignment for up to 960 total hours of work in a fiscal year.\n(Department of Human Resources) APPROVE (24-3528)
