4.C. WAIVER OF PLANNING FEES FOR THE REDUCTION OF\nPARKING REQUIREMENTS FOR BUSINESSES WITH PARKING\nCREDITS AND WAIVER OF LATE FEES ASSESSED TO\nPROGRAM PARTICIPANTS [J. ROCCO, J. KEHO, J. ALKIRE, S.\nCAMPBELL, V. GUARINO]:\nThe City Council will consider waiving the planning fees to amend\nthe required permit to reduce commercial parking requirements for\nbusinesses participating in the parking credits programs to reflect\nthe reduced number of parking credits needed, and extending the\nwaived late fees for unpaid accounts in the program through the\nend of the current fiscal year.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve a waiver of the Planning fees to\nprocess the parking reductions to be applied to planning permits\nand amendments to the parking credits contracts; 2) Approve\nextending the waived late Parking Credit fees for unpaid accounts\nthrough the end of the current fiscal year; and 3) Direct staff to\nconduct new outreach to all parking credit program participants that\nare eligible for but have not requested a reduction in parking\nrequirements, to guide them through the application process.\nSTAFF REPORT
