2.T. 2023 INTERNATIONAL TRANSGENDER DAY OF VISIBILITY [Y.\nQUARKER, A. LOVANO, J. DEL TORO, M. MÁRQUEZ]:\nThe City Council will consider approval of activities planned for\ncommemoration of the International Transgender Day of Visibility\n(TDOV) on March 31, 2023.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Direct City staff to light the City's\nlanterns overSanta Monica Boulevard in the colors light blue, light\npink, and white to recognize Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV)\nfrom March 24 - March 31, 2023; 2) Direct City staff to fly the\nTransgender Flag over City Hall and to display flags along the\nmedians on Santa Monica Boulevard from March 24 - March 31,\n2023; 3) Direct City staff to coordinate the City's annual\ncommemoration of Transgender Day of Visibility through an online\ncampaign from March 24 - March 31, 2023; and 4) Direct City staff\nto utilize all appropriate communication tools to raise awareness\nabout International Transgender Day of Visibility activities, including\nsharing resources via social media.\nSTAFF REPORT
