15. AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE MEASURE M FUNDING AGREEMENT\nBETWEEN THE CITY OF WEST HOLLYWOOD AND THE LOS ANGELES\nCOUNTY METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY [H.\nCOLLINS, J. GILMOUR, R. GARLAND, W. DAVIS]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider approval of Amendment No. 1 to\nthe Measure M Funding Agreement between the City of West Hollywood and\nthe Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority to extend the\ndeadline of the grant for the Santa Monica Blvd/La Brea Ave Transit Hub\nImprovement Projects, and approve the release of a request for proposals\nfor the design of the La Brea Avenue Pedestrian Light Fixture Refurbishing\nProject.\nRECOMMENDATION: 1) Authorize the City Manager or his designee to\nexecute Amendment No. 1 to the Measure M Funding Agreement between\nthe City of West Hollywood and the Los Angeles County Metropolitan\nTransportation Authority for the Santa Monica Blvd/La Brea Ave Transit Hub\nImprovement Projects; and 2) Authorize the issuance of a Request for\nProposals (RFP) to invite qualified firms to design plans, specifications and\nconstruction estimates for the La Brea Avenue Pedestrian Light Fixture\nRefurbishing Project.
