11. FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH LOS ANGELES COUNTY\nMETROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY FOR A TRANSIT\nORIENTED COMMUNITIES TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM\nGRANT AWARD [N. MARICICH, F. CONTRERAS, AICP, T. FARRIS]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider adopting a resolution to enter into\na funding agreement with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transit\nAuthority (“Metro”) as part of the Transit Oriented Communities Technical\nAssistance Program (TOC TAP). This action is exempt from CEQA.\nRECOMMENDATION: 1) Adopt Resolution 24-____: “A RESOLUTION OF\nTHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST HOLLYWOOD\nAUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A FUNDING\nAGREEMENT AND ACCEPT FUNDS AS AN AWARDEE OF LA METRO’S\nTRANSIT ORIENTED COMMUNITIES TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE\nPROGRAM”; and 2) Authorize City Manager or designee to execute the\nFunding Agreement and all necessary contracts, payment requests, and\namendments for the purposes of securing grant funds, and to implement and\ncarry out the purposes specified in the grant application.
