5. EXPANSION OF BE WELL WEHO PROGRAMMING [C. BYERS, Y.\nQUARKER, A. LOVANO, J. DEL TORO]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider directing staff to evaluate the\nexpansion of the Be Well WeHo programming and return to the City Council\nwith recommendations.\nRECOMMENDATION: 1) Direct staff to evaluate options for expanding the\nBe Well WeHo program to include more regularly occurring events focusing\non wellness for all adults; 2) Direct staff to review the current program, gather\nfeedback from relevant stakeholders and return to the City Council with\nrecommendations on the proposed program expansion including potential\ncosts, resource requirements, and implementation timelines; and 3) Develop\na “wellness” designation for programming listed in the City’s Rec Reader.
