5.D. REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR THE 2023\nRUSSIAN-SPEAKING COMMUNITY CULTURAL HERITAGE\nMONTH [J. HEILMAN, C. BYERS, Y. QUARKER, A. LOVANO]:\nThe City Council will consider allocating additional funding to the\nRussian-Speaking Community Cultural Heritage Month\nprogramming, specifically the "WeHo Mishka" 22nd Annual Festival.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve increasing the Russian-\nSpeaking Community Cultural Heritage Month annual budget by\n$17,500 from $50,000 to $67,500 for the "WeHo Mishka" Annual\nFestival; and 2) Authorize the Director of Finance and Technology\nServices to allocate $17,500 from unallocated General Fund\nreserves to the Russian Community Events account 100-3-50-15-\n535012 for costs associated with the "WeHo Mishka" 22nd Annual\nFestival.\nSTAFF REPORT\nEXCLUDED CONSENT CALENDAR: Items removed from the Consent\nCalendar for separate discussion are considered at this time.
