CONSIDERATION OF ORDINANCE NO. 950 AMENDING TITLE 6 (BUILDINGS AND\nCONSTRUCTION) OF THE BELL GARDENS MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING\nSTREAMLINED PERMIT REQUIREMENTS FOR ELECTRICAL VEHICLE CHARGING\nSTATIONS\nOrdinance No. 950 would establish permit streamlining procedures for electric vehicle charging\nstations to comply with state law.\nRecommendation:\nIt is Staff’s recommendation that the City Council waive full reading and introduce Ordinance No.\n950, by title only, amending Title 6 (Buildings And Construction) of the Bell Gardens Municipal\nCode by adding streamlined permit requirements for electric vehicle charging stations to comply\nwith state law.
