6. AUTHORIZATION TO AMEND THE AGREEMENT WITH MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, INC. TO\nINCREASE COMPENSATION FOR INTEROPERABLE COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT\n(FUNDING SOURCE: AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends the City Council:\nA. Authorize the City Manager to amend the agreement with Motorola\nSolutions, Inc. to increase compensation by $67,741 for the purchase and\ninstallation of one Conventional Channel Gateway on City-owned property,\nfor a total contract amount of $1,541,316; and\nB. Appropriate an additional $67,741 from the American Rescue Plan Act\n(ARPA) Fund to fund this purchase.
