I.10\nAUTHORIZATION TO AWARD A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE\nTRAFFIC SIGNAL UPGRADES PROJECT (REPORT OF: PUBLIC WORKS)\nAuthorization to Award a Highway Safety Improvement Program Construction\nContract to Iteris, Inc. for the Traffic Signal Upgrades Project, City Project Number\n808 0035\nRecommendation(s)\nThat the City Council:\n1. Award a Highway Safety Improvement construction contract to Iteris, Inc. for the\nTraffic Signal Upgrades Project, City Project Number 808 0035; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with Iteris, Inc. in the amount of\n$951,060, funded by the Capital Projects Grants Fund (Fund 2301) and State Gas\nTax Fund (Fund 2000); and\n3. Authorize the issuance of a Purchase Order to Iteris Inc. for the amount of\n$981,060 ($951,060 bid amount plus $30,000 contingency) when the contract has\nbeen signed by all parties; and\n4. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to execute any subsequent\nrelated change orders to the contract with Iteris, Inc. up the contingency amount,\nsubject to the approval of the City Attorney.
