5.\nACCEPTANCE AND ALLOCATION OF THE 2024-25 OFFICE OF \nTRAFFIC \nSAFETY \nGRANT \nFOR \nTHE \nSELECTIVE \nTRAFFIC \nENFORCEMENT PROGRAM\n24-353\nRECOMMENDATION:\nStaff recommends the City Council:\n1. Approve the proposed Resolution No. 2024-XX, which ratifies the application \nfor a grant award from the State of California - Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) \nfor the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) and authorize the City \nManager or designee to execute the grant documents, including the Grant \nAgreement, and accept and administer the grant.\n2.
