A.11. AUTHORIZATION TO AWARD A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO JB\nASPHALT PAVING CO. DBA JB BOSTICK, INC. FOR PARKING LOT\nPAVEMENT REHABILITATION FOR COTTONWOOD GOLF CENTER,\nMORENO VALLEY COMMUNITY PARK, MARCH FIELD PARK AND\nPEDRORENA PARK - PROJECT NO. 807 0060 (Report of: Parks &\nCommunity Services)\nRecommendations: That the City Council and CSD:\n1. Award a construction contract to JB Asphalt Paving Co., dba JB\nBostick, Inc., for Parking Lot Pavement Rehabilitation for Cottonwood\nGolf Center, Moreno Valley Community Park, March Field Park and\nPedrorena Park - Project No. 807 0060-5011 and authorize the City\nManager to execute a contract in substantial conformance with the\nattached contract in the amount of $242,840.00, and authorize the City\nManager to approve and execute any subsequent amendments\nsubject to the approval of the City Attorney;\n2. Authorize the issuance of a Purchase Order (PO) to JB Asphalt Paving\nCo., dba JB Bostick, Inc. in the amount of $303,550.00 (bid amount\nplus a 25% contingency of $60,710.00) necessary for completing the\nconstruction of this project, funded by Zone A (Fund 5011); and,\n3. Authorize the Parks and Community Services Director to execute any\nsubsequent change orders for JB Asphalt Paving Co., dba JB Bostick\nInc.’s, contract and/or PO to not exceed the contingency amount of\n$60,710.00, subject to the approval of the City Attorney.
