APPROVAL \nOF \nAUTHORIZATION \nTO \nINVITE \nBIDS \nFOR \nBUILDING \nDEMOLITION AT 5003 SERENO DRIVE \nThe City Council is requested to approve a draft bid package, specifications and \nplans for the building demolition of existing building at 5003 Sereno Drive, and \nauthorize staff to advertise the project for bids. \nRecommendation: \n1. \nApprove the draft bid package, specifications and plans for the building \ndemolition of existing building at 5003 Sereno Drive, and authorize staff to \nadvertise the project for bids, upon completion of asbestos testing and \nfinalization of plans as necessary; \n2. \nGrant the City Manager the ability to award the contract up to $125,000; \nand \n3. \nReceive and file bid results and award of contract for the Project at a future \nmeeting.
