Item 109: \nAmendment to Agreement (H2326129) with Interwest Consulting Group for As-\nNeeded Plan Check and Inspection Services in the Development Services\nDepartment.\nTotal Estimated Cost of Proposed Action and Funding Source:\nThis action, to approve a first amendment, will extend the agreement through March 2,\n2026, and increase the not-to-exceed (NTE) amount by $1,000,000 (total NTE of\n$3,500,000).  The estimated expenditure for Fiscal Year 2025 is $500,000. Funding is\navailable in the Development Services Fund.\nCouncil District(s) Affected:  Citywide.\nProposed Actions:\n(R-2025-117)\nResolution authorizing an amendment to an agreement (H2326129) with Interwest\nConsulting Group for as-needed plan check and inspection services for the Development\nServices Department to provide additional professional services for an amount not-to-\nexceed $1,000,000 and for a one year extension with a new total compensation for\nservices provided under the agreement not-to-exceed $3,500,000.\nCommittee Actions Taken: \nThis item was heard at the Budget and Government Efficiency Committee meeting on\nSeptember 11, 2024.\nACTION:  Motion by Chair Lee, second by Council President Pro Tem LaCava, to\nrecommend Council approval of staff’s proposed actions.\nVOTE: 4-0; Lee-yea, LaCava-yea, Foster III-yea, Moreno-yea.\nDevelopment Services: Gary Geiler, (619) 446-5366\nCity Attorney Contact: Noah Brazier
