C. RESOLUTION NO. 23-13 PROCLAIMING THE TERMINATION OF A LOCAL\nEMERGENCY\nThe City of San Gabriel has been in a state of local emergency since March 16,\n2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the State’s termination of the\nstate-wide emergency on February 28, 2023, formal City Council action is\nrequested to terminate the state of local emergency. There is no fiscal impact\nassociated with rescinding the emergency order. Any reimbursements for\nCOVID-19 impacts have been recovered through American Rescue Plan Act\n(ARPA) funds previously issued to the City.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 23-13 proclaiming\nthe termination of a local emergency.
