Uplifting The Music Center as a 2024 Los Angeles County Vote Center\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Solis: Waive the $20 per vehicle\nparking fee, excluding the cost of liability insurance, at The Music Center\nGarage, for voters and election workers visiting the Vote Centers at The Music\nCenter and the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration from October 23, 2024\nthrough November 12, 2024, this period allows for equipment setup, the voting\nperiod, and the breakdown of the site; and request that The Music Center, in\npartnership with the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk, host an informational\nmeeting with cultural institutions to discuss their experience in hosting a Vote\nCenter so that other museums, galleries, theaters, and similar venues can open\ntheir doors to serve as Vote Centers for future elections.
