66. Helicopter Patrol Law Enforcement Services Agreement\nRecommendation: Authorize the Sheriff to execute a helicopter patrol law\nenforcement services agreement with the City of Lakewood (City) (4) to provide\na sworn observer for the City’s law enforcement helicopter patrol, for the period\ncommencing upon execution by the Sheriff, through June 30, 2029, unless\nsooner terminated or extended, with the City paying the Sheriff’s Department\nhalf the cost of the deputy sheriff observer position, and the County paying the\nremaining half; and as an agent for the County, publish the annual billing rates\nand execute amendments and/or supplemental agreements as set forth in\nSection 11.0 of this agreement.
