Proclaiming October 2024 as Los Angeles County “Faith Leader\nAppreciation Month”\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisors Barger and Hahn: Proclaim the\nmonth of October 2024 as “Faith Leader Appreciation Month” throughout Los\nAngeles County; encourage all County Departments to establish ways to\nrecognize partnerships with Faith Leaders and celebrate their contributions to\nimprove the health and well-being of vulnerable youth, adults, and families in\nneed of support; and encourage relevant County Departments to strengthen\nexisting faith-based initiatives, as well as streamline and enhance\ncommunication with the faith community for better engagement.
