62. Quitclaim of Easements in the City of Santa Clarita\nRecommendation: Acting as the Governing Body of the County Flood Control\nDistrict (District), and as a responsible agency for the Sand Canyon Plaza\nMixed-Use Project (Project), consider the Final Environmental Impact Report\nprepared and certified by the City of Santa Clarita (5) as the lead agency;\ncertify that the Board has independently reviewed and considered the\ninformation contained in the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) and reached its\nown conclusions regarding the environmental effects of the District's approvals\nrelated to the Project as shown in the EIR; adopt the Mitigation Monitoring\nProgram as applicable to the Project, finding that it is adequately designed to\nensure compliance with the mitigation measures during Project implementation;\ndetermine that the significant adverse effects of the Project have either been\nreduced to an acceptable level, or are outweighed by the specific\nconsiderations of the Project as outlined in the Environmental Findings of Fact\nand Statement of Overriding Considerations, which findings and statement are\nadopted and incorporated herein by reference as applicable; and take the\nfollowing actions: (Department of Public Works) ADOPT\nFind that the easements for storm drain purposes affecting Parcels\n1EXE, 1EXE.1, and 1EXE.2, and for storm drain ingress and egress and\nappurtenances affecting Parcels 2EXE, 2EXE.1, 2EXE.2, 2EXE.3, and\n2EXE.4 related to Private Drain No. 1307, in the City of Santa Clarita,\nare no longer required for the purposes of the District;\nApprove the quitclaim of easements for storm drain purposes affecting\nParcels 1EXE, 1EXE.1, and 1EXE.2, and storm drain ingress and\negress and appurtenances affecting Parcels 2EXE, 2EXE.1, 2EXE.2,\n2EXE.3, and 2EXE.4 related to Private Drain No. 1307, in the City of\nSanta Clarita, from the District to the underlying fee property owners, GS\nSand Canyon for Rent Owner I, LLC, and GS Sand Canyon for Rent\nOwner II, LLC, for the Project; and\nAuthorize the Chief Engineer of the District to execute the quitclaim of\neasements documents and authorize delivery to GS Sand Canyon for\nRent Owner I, LLC, and GS Sand Canyon for Rent Owner II, LLC.\n(24-4348)\nPublic Safety
