Proposed City of Highland Community Development Block Grant ( CDBG) Applications\nfor Fiscal Year 2025/ 2026 Including One for Enhanced Code Enforcement and One for\nPavement Rehabilitation and Ancillary Work on Two Streets: Sparks Street between\nVictoria Avenue and Cunningham Street and 11th Street between Los Feliz Drive and\nVictoria Avenue\nRECOMMENDATION: That the City Council:\n1) Approve the City' s application for Enhanced Code Enforcement that supports a\nportion of the salary and benefits of a Code Enforcement Officer, Administrative\nAssistant, and Community Development Director; and\n2) Approve the city' s application to construct pavement rehabilitation and ancillary\nwork on Sparks Street and Victoria Avenue within the CDBG Low -Moderate\nIncome eligible block area boundaries.
