PROJECT NO. 3302-2425 - RESOLUTION NO. 24-55 – BUDGET AMENDMENT AND AWARD OF\nCONTRACT FOR CITYWIDE SIDEWALK/CONCRETE REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT\nStaff recommends City Council:\na. adopt Resolution No. 24-55, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF\nNORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2024/25 ADOPTED\nBUDGET TO APPROPRIATE MEASURE R BOND FUNDS AND TRANSPORTATION\nDEVELOPMENT ACT ARTICLE 3 FUNDS FOR AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT CURB\nRAMP INSTALLATIONS TO PROJECT NO. 3302-2425 – CITYWIDE SIDEWALK/CONCRETE\nREPAIR AND REPLACEMENT, in the amounts of $211,040 and $56,000, respectively; and\nb. award a contract to CJ Concrete Construction, Inc. of Santa Fe Springs in the amount of $499,600\nfor Project No. 3302-2425, Citywide Sidewalk/Concrete Repair and Replacement; and authorize the\nCity Manager to execute the agreement and any extension/amendments including potential change\norders, up to the retention amount provided there is funding in the budget, on behalf of the City, in a\nform approved by the City Attorney.
