Reestablish and Increase the Reward Offer in the Investigation of the\nMurder of Christopher Cantero\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Mitchell: Reestablish and increase\nthe reward previously offered from $20,000 to $25,000 in exchange for\ninformation leading to the apprehension and conviction of the person or\npersons responsible for the heinous murder of 15-year-old Christopher\nCantero, who was fatally shot while sitting inside a vehicle that was parked on\nthe 100 block of East Cypress Street in the City of Compton, and later\nsuccumbed to his injuries at a local hospital on July 5, 2021, at approximately\n7:00 p.m. (24-0748)
