Acquisition to Expand Parks and Trails Along the Lower Los Angeles\nRiver Corridor\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Hahn: Allocate an amount not to\nexceed $350,000 to the County, through the Department of Parks and\nRecreation, for the proposed Lower Los Angeles River Corridor project,\ncomprised of $350,000 of Excess Funds available to the Fourth Supervisorial\nDistrict; authorize the Director of the Regional Park and Open Space District to\naward grants when applicable conditions have been met, and administer the\ngrants as of the date of award and pursuant to guidelines in the Proposition A\nGrants Administration Manual for Excess Funds and Competitive Funds,\notherwise funds shall remain in the Excess Funds account; and find that the\nproposed actions are not a project under the California Environmental Quality\nAct.
