11.B. Annual Weed Abatement Protest Hearing
It is recommended that the City Council consider:
1. Opening the continued public hearing, receiving public comment, closing the public
hearing;
2. Adopting a Resolution declaring that weeds, brush, rubbish and refuse upon or in
front of specified property in the City are a seasonal and recurrent public nuisance,
and declaring its intention to provide for abatement; and
3. Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act):
Adopting of this Resolution is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act
(“CEQA”) under CEQA Guidelines § 15061 (b)(3) because it can be seen with certainty that
there is no possibility that the Resolution may have a significant effect on the environment. |
