Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute Amendment No. 1\nof the MOA between the City of Baldwin Park and the SGVCOG to\nparticipate in the Regional Food Recovery Program Expansion; and\n2. 5. Approve Facility Use Agreement with the American Red Cross, Los\nAngeles Region for Disaster Relief Activities\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve the Facility Use Agreement with American Red Cross, Los\nAngeles Region, to permit shelters and other service delivery sites\nfor disaster victims to be set up, at City of Baldwin Park Facilities;\nand\n2. Authorize the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to execute the Facility\nUse Agreement; and\n3. Approval to Consider Second Amendment to the Service Agreement for\nConsultant Services by and between the City of Baldwin Park and\nKingdom Causes, dba City Net\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve the second amendment to the service agreement for\nconsultant services by and between the City of Baldwin Park and\nKingdom Causes, dba City Net in the total amount of $1,165,677.35\nto operate Serenity Homes for one (1) year and continue serving fifty\n(50) beds of interim housing for families experiencing homelessness\nat Serenity Homes from September 23, 2023, to September 22,\n2024; and\n2. Authorize the Mayor to execute the second amendment to the\nservice agreement; and\n3. Authorize the Director of Finance to appropriate and make the\nnecessary budget adjustments; and\n4.
