4. Proposal to Consider Adoption of the Los Angeles County "Good Neighbor Pledge" to\nSupport Regional Homelessness Solutions\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve joining the Los Angeles County Homeless Initiative âGood Neighbor Pledgeâ for\ncoordinated regional solutions to homelessness; and\n2. Authorize Mayor and City Council to execute the Los Angeles County Homeless\nInitiative âGood Neighbor Pledgeâ on behalf of the City of Baldwin Park.

5. Approve Second Amendments to the Professional Service Agreements (PSAs) with David\nVolz Design, Evan Brooks and Associates (EBA), Infrastructure Engineers a Bowman\nCompany, John L. Hunter and Associates, Onward Engineering, RKA Consulting Group, TAIT\nand Associates and Willdan Engineering to Extend Term for One-Year.\nIt is recommended that the City Council approve the Second Amendments to the current\nProfessional Services Agreements for a one-year term extension with the Consulting Firms\nand Authorize the Mayor to execute the Second Amendments to the PSAs.

Claim Rejection\nIt is recommended that the City Council reject the following claim and direct staff to send the\nappropriate notice of rejection to claimant:\n⢠Martin Herrera The claimant alleges whistleblower retaliation.\nThis government claim, and all government claims, should be considered as potential\nlawsuits in the future. Thus, it is requested that all City Staff, the Mayor and all Council\nMembers refrain from making any statements, whether public or private in nature. It is\nimportant that no statements be made so as to not prejudice this claim in any way which can\nhappen if public or private comments are made about this claim by City staff or Council\nMembers.

Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance 1517, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY\nCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK TO AMEND SECTION 153.220.240 OF THE\nMUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO WAREHOUSES AND WHOLESALE SALES AND REVISE\nTABLE 153.050.020 IN THE CITY'S MUNICIPAL CODE AS IT RELATES TO PERMITTED\nAND CONDITIONALLY PERMITTED USES IN THE INDUSTRIAL "I" AND INDUSTRIAL\nCOMMERCIAL "I-C" ZONES AND FINDING THE ACTION EXEMPT FROM CEQA\nPURSUANT TO SECTION 15060(b)(3) OF THE CEQA GUIDELINES".\nIt is recommended that the City Council waive further reading and adopt, Ordinance 1517,\nentitled: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK TO\nAMEND SECTION 153.220.240 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO WAREHOUSES\nAND WHOLESALE SALES AND REVISE TABLE 153.050.020 IN THE CITY'S MUNICIPAL\nCODE AS IT RELATES TO PERMITTED AND CONDITIONALLY PERMITTED USES IN THE\nINDUSTRIAL "I" AND INDUSTRIAL COMMERCIAL "I-C" ZONES AND FINDING THE\nACTION EXEMPT FROM CEQA PURSUANT TO SECTION 15060(b)(3) OF THE CEQA\nGUIDELINES.\nPUBLIC HEARING
